The Miami Heat have been active in the 2025 NBA Draft, selecting Kasparas Jakucionis with the 20th overall pick. The team had also been rumored to be interested in trading for Kevin Durant, but ultimately missed out on him as he was traded to the Houston Rockets. The Heat are now exploring other options, including potentially trading for DeMar DeRozan or targeting other prospects with their 20th pick.
