"So honest question can you not have a mix of both based on your time horizon say for me 10-12 years Ive been dabbling in both worlds some higher yielding funds will actually fund my longer term holdings like $SPMO $AMAT $SMH etc Is there or should I say can there be a good trade off and balance. This is where I spend the majority of my time researching and analyzing these different strategies. While I dont need it now Ill drip it and build the shares so when Im ready that stockpile is there of both asset classes"
