"The sheer volume of leaks in this process has had the effect of manufacturing common knowledge. For example should $WBD walk from all bidders it will become common knowledge that the $NFLX risk was too high and DZ didn't want to sell to $PSKY (perhaps a face-saving move for his relationships to Hollywood talent I'm not sure). What happens after that is not clear but it does open the door for a hostile tender from PSKY.
