The "i" stands for inscriptions; unlike standard ERC20 tokens on EVM ERC20i is a standard invented in 2024 which allows tokens themselves to act as inscriptions. It's like your coins simultaneously being inscribed with NFTs; the tokens themselves are it and they're dynamic not fixed.
