"Imo the key to the market is high yield spreads. Credit is everything and the only thing that can derail the market. I see many posts that just discuss the indexs. Go look at the Feb to April period it started in high yield spreads widening and moving up to XXX basis point spread. No that is not an enormous blowout compared to other periods but it did take the market down XX + % the first brands and tricolor issues certainly took time to for everyone to understand the consequences. The private equity markets displaced the high yield markets and does not price in a public manner. BDCs"
