"My heart tells me to buy $meli (not because of Elon 🤣) but my mind tells me to buy $xyz. About the same gross profit (meli XX% higher) about the same net income. Meli growing mid-30s xyz growing mid-teens. That's why meli gets more than 2x the valuation of xyz. BUT next year I expect their growth rates to converge - low 30s for meli and mid-20s for xyz. So xyz can almost double just to get closer to meli's valuation"

"I like $meli a lot but. $se has 2x the gmv a lot more dominant in SEA than meli in LatAm SEA growing faster than LatAm competes successfully with meli in Brazil which is XX% of meli's business plus has Garena which is doing great. The only advantage of meli now is that it is a more mature company and has much higher take rate but se will catch up as its dominance in SEA fully allows it to do it. Unless se screws up badly or some black swan event in SEA I don't see how meli can be bigger than se in the mid and long term"
