"Layer 2A - The Atoms (Consumables & Chemicals) $ENTG $LIN $CCMP These are the ultra-pure chemicals gases slurries cleans and resists fabs use every hour. Every wafer pass consumes materials that must meet near-perfect purity standards. Why it matters - AI scaling depends just as much on chemical precision as transistor counts. Purity equals yield. Investor angle - High recurrence high visibility and protected by strict copy exact rules. (Report posted on SS)"

"🚨 $IBM CEO Says the AI Buildout Doesnt Work at Todays Costs. Lets unpack what that actually means. Arvind Krishnas statementt is simple: If you freeze the world exactly as it exists today - current power costs current cooling limits current optical economics current utilization then a X GW AI data center really does cost something like $80B. Scale that to global demand and the capex crosses trillions. On that snapshot the ROI looks rough. But there is a key phrase in his statement at todays cost structure and tech stack. So lets talk about what today actually looks like and why several of"

"$POET Technologies reported its third-quarter 2025 financial results yesterday. This quarter was particularly important as its the first financial report since the company secured its war chest in October with a raise of over $XXX million. This influx of capital has fundamentally shifted the investment thesis. The primary risks for POET has long been a combination of financial technical and commercial hurdles. With the financial questions now largely answered for the foreseeable future the markets focus must shift to the remaining risks: can the company execute and is its strategy the right"

"5 Aeluma $ALMU ALMU sits in the frontier optics category for me. Their work in monolithic III-V on silicon and SWIR sensing ties into areas where performance-per-dollar yield and wavelength-specific advantages matter more over time. I follow them because they represent a set of technologies that could become relevant as edge AI autonomous systems and photonic interconnects evolve. I dont treat ALMU as a broad semiconductor proxy. Its a focused position tied to emerging components that may grow as new optical requirements appear. That optionality especially in areas like quantum links"

"One of the most important shifts in AI infrastructure is happening inside the optical layer. $LITE $COHR The industry is leaning heavily on 200G Indium Phosphide EML lasers the light sources that sit inside every 800G and 1.6T link. Demand is climbing quickly as clusters move to higher speeds and larger network footprints. Only a limited group of facilities worldwide can produce these lasers at high yield. Most 800G modules use four. Standard 1.6T designs use eight. Early 3.2T prototypes in the field rely on either sixteen 200G lanes or eight 400G lanes which increases the pull on III-V laser"

"Why the Future Looks Bright for Aeluma $ALMU AI had been dominating headlines. AI bubble this NVDA GPU GOOGLE TPU that etc. Peel back the layers dig further into the bottlenecks and you find small companies that are doing some really cool stuff that are rarely talked about Data needs to move between chips at (literal) light speed. Current infra is hitting a thermal and physics wall This is where Aeluma steps in. They have many exciting applications but in this post ill focus on two of the most exciting (AI DC and wearables) While legacy companies struggle with supply constraints and outdated"

"🚨Why I think $MRVL acquisition of Celestial AI is a MASSIVE tailwind for $POET technologies Marvell just shook the semiconductor stack. The Celestial AI acquisition $3.25B upfront potentially $5.5B is more than a headline. Its a direct swing at the memory wall. A very loud message that the next phase of AI scaling runs on light not electrons. Credits to Marvell for locking down the Photonic Fabric. Fair. They NEEDED that IMO. Its one of the most important architectures in the industry. But if your analysis stops there youre overlooking the second-order name with far more torque: POET"

"Layer X - The Blueprints (EDA / Chip Design Software) $SNPS $CDNS This is where every chip begins. Before a wafer ever enters a fab these tools simulate how electrons will behave at near-atomic scales. They solve physics problems digitally long before billions are spent physically. Why it matters - AI chips fail without accurate design. This layer shapes the limits of every processor built above it. Investor angle: Recurring unavoidable software revenue tied directly to each generation of silicon. (Report posted on SS)"

Isotopically pure silicon immersion fluids glass substrates photonics materials nuclear fuel and advanced alloys all live here. Why it matters - AI has reached physical limits. Scaling requires newer materials that manage heat power and mechanical stress. Investor angle - Scarcity + irreplaceability define the economic moat. (Report in progress available by 12/7)"

"I think $ALMU has the greatest chance of being a 10x in X years while also having the lowest chance of dropping XX% in the meantime from these levels. There are lots of emerging tech companies and suppliers that have massive potential but also massive risk. ALMU has a solid floor with all the gov contracts that fund operations and allows them to validate their tech with some of the most stringent agencies in the world From there they can push the limits and create massively disruptive tech and figure out how to commercialize at scale They make some really bold claims that I would typically"

"Thank you Solid talking points Short answer: hyperscalers dont all use the same optics vendor but they pretty much all buy from the same small circle of trusted high-volume suppliers. Broadcom LITE Coherent InnoLight Acacia etc. The entire game is about cost thermal stability and reliability at scale. POET's goal isnt compete with those guys head-on. Theyre trying to slot into that supply chain as the engine provider inside the modules these big vendors already build. Thats why the Foxconn/Luxshare/Celestial relationships are significant. POET sells the engine the partners sell the finished"

"Hey JJ Im not sure theres a true AI-Energy ETF yet that would outperform a DIY basket. If anyone knows one definitely chime in. The existing funds I know of either lean too utility-heavy too clean-energy focused or miss the actual load-driven bottlenecks forming around AI buildouts. The way I loosely think about the basket is something like this: Gas-to-Power Nuclear (new-build + SMRs + fuel cycle) Thermal + Power Conversion Grid modernizers (transmission substations transformers) Long-duration storage / utility-scale batteries Tactical fossil generation (reliability + backup) Pipelines +"

"Thoughts on $CRDO earnings as a $LITE Bull $LITE stock was getting hit yesterday and I think part of it was people reacting to headlines from Credos earnings. So lets unpack this properly. First off hats off to Credo. They delivered. Again. XXX% YoY revenue growth. Next quarter guide: $340M. Crushing it AI spending is not slowing down. Its accelerating. Hyperscalers are building infrastructure at a record pace and the plumbing of the data center is running just as hot as the GPUs powering it.
