"Btc did well given the macro backdrop was against it. Btc responds best to low rates and high inflation expectations. We had the complete opposite - high rates QT & disinflation. All retail speculation went into alts too so no real hype to fuel the bubble attention was diluted. I believe this cycle had one real purpose - kill bitcoins reputation and hand the coins over to the rich. And I think thats happened now. I bet youd be extremely hard pressed to find a non-rich person that believes in btc and is willing to buy significant amounts of it. Meanwhile institutions Saylor etc. all own more"
