"There are no reasons to use Altium as it is now. Xpedition is so much better. I have designed boards in many many other tools. Each have their pros and cons. And right now KiCAD has tons of cons. That will improve but at what pace The state that it is currently in is better than eagle ever was but it is no where close to being altium. KiCAD will always have the best value though its free. You cannot get better value than free. And if you are cheap and can't afford to pay for better tools then sure fine its ok because it still works. I am still going to use KiCAD because it is a convenient"
