"My point wasnt that you have to work X hours or for Y pay. Everyone has different priorities and should opt for what they want vs others. Just that boasting about XXX and salary is lame. Even more so to claim or assume youre better than others. But working hard for something you care about for intrinsic reasons is something I wholeheartedly believe in. That can be 20h sometimes but shouldnt be the norm for long durations. Tl:dr: Dont listen to neither 996ers or work-life balancers. Both preach some extremes and without tying it to intrinsic motivations and priorities that are personal to each"
