Ripple is dropping its cross-appeal against the SEC, and the SEC is expected to drop its appeal, effectively closing this chapter. Ripple is now focusing on building the "internet of value" and has made significant moves, including a $1 billion acquisition of G-Treasury to break into the corporate treasury payments market. The company has also applied for a national bank charter and achieved regulatory milestones, including final approval for its stablecoin, $RLUSD.
