"Took a swing trade yesterday on $HD and managed to trim this morning and got stopped out as the whole market pulled back. This was an EOD entry and these are great because you don't have to be on the screens for the whole day. The most important price structure you're looking for when it comes to an EOD entry is an established HL on the intra day chart. You want to see a flag develop or a very low volume pullback during the day after a nice morning pump. From there going into the afternoon session you can take an entry as volume picks back up and use that HL as your SL. This has worked really"

"$AAPL I've been focusing more on the weekly TF charts recently to try to get a clearer picture of what price is doing. The story that price is telling here is very compelling to me for a potential continuation. We are obviously very extended on the weekly TF off last week but the push was off very high volume. We also get a daily EMA crossover all with healthy volume indicating the confidence from buyers. The game plan for me is to look for a test of the EMA cross over spot and see buyers stepping back in again for a long entry. This plan likely takes more time but a weekly close above that"

"The resounding strength in $XLV despite the headwinds from $UNH is reason enough to add some healthcare names to your watchlist. $ABBV which is around 7% of $XLV is showing very structurally bullish price action. "$GEV - This is a great example highlighting the importance of weekly candle closes Notice how the wick off the Dec [--] weekly candle is where the Jan [--] candle faces some resistance. BUT the high close is the highest weekly close EVER for this stock. I've found that even if we don't technically break range the high candle close is a high indication of momentum beginning to really pick up. When you combine this with the catalyst of earnings and large volume days the trend is STILL up no matter how messy the daily candles may be.
