We might have pasta or rice once a week. Wife is low carb atm so mostly veggies and meat. Bulk buy meat. We get a cow and hog butchered as needed. This is the key: No freezer prepared meals at all. Not only do they taste bad they're expensive. No chips candy processed foods. I'll bake my own junk food instead. Homemade bread biscuits pita naan English muffins etc. I eat better than all my friends. It makes it hard to go out to eat bc restaurants often taste worse than my wife's cooking. So we don't often.
