"Hmm Bitcoin was definitely in a bull market in 2021. Chinas mining ban in Summer 2021 (at a time where they had 65-75% of the total hashrate) caused miners to sell their Bitcoin & relocate to the USA Canada Russia and Kazakstan. The relocation took a few months which was essentially the entirety of Bitcoins Summer 2021 correction. Basically chopped the top off that cycle/killed the momentum it had prior to the ban Bitcoin ended up hitting an ATH at the time of $69k in early November 2021. Exactly XX months post 2020 halving too. This cycle hit an ATH XX months post 2024 halving. Lesson in"

"I lean toward no unless proven otherwise. The halvings still hold more influence than most give them credit for. That said with institutions and sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) setting a new floor for Bitcoin's price a dynamic that didnt exist before January 2024 I believe the down years wont be as brutal as they once were. The 4-year cycle may eventually die but I dont think were there yet"
