LDLs of 50-80 are what hunter and gatherers have (humans in the wild). Neonates 30-50. People lucky enough to have genetically low LDL are at 15-30. We're primates. We all have naturally low LDL. Our evolutionary baseline LDL isn't average LDL a few years before statins LOL I mean huh We now know because of the aforementioned converging evidence that LDLs above our natural levels the thresholds lead"

"This isn't accurate. There is significant benefit for people with heart attacks many randomized controlled trials on this. The "4 days" is merely a statistical artifact from event driven trials with relatively short timeframes. The benefits compound over time. LDL's effects are cumulative and log linear thus the lower the LDL is for longer the more the benefits. A few years makes it difficult to capture the events or lack there of. But also X days of extra life is not bad over a 2-3 year trial and again that compounds to years decades later"
