"Wild to think Tropical Storm Melissia will be only here by Saturday morning. On stall as a hurricane expected right off Haiti could be days of rain stuck in the front right quadrant it would be a disaster. This arm of Haiti is quite populated with mountains along the length of it. Nightmarish if this plays out like NHC expect. Then if Melissa does miss first trough and moves west before next pick up Jamaica could get a historic disaster as well. That part of the forecast is still an unknown per the NHC. "NHC current cone track medium well south of Jamaica still which would more favor the recurve over the Cayman Islands Cuba through the Bahamas. By cone it would seem the NHC is not buying the sharp recurve GFS keeps cooking up. Cuba and Puerto Rico in NHC 2PM Update warning message was very telling to just how wide the spread is for what could happen with 98L. Should slow development not stop development. "Updated charting shows here on shear tendency way down in front of 98L signs. The ASCAT scan showed a possible surface circulation beginning well south in the sweet zone of low shear. Favors west she goes and favors more development. Likely will get named tonight IMO"

"Convergence is collapsing from earlier here pictured current. Divergence is going off the charts now pictured second. This is incredible to see. Rapid flux is ongoing that favors development continuing. Maybe quickly so now but the whole eastern canopy is being heavily sheared meaning can't overturn moisture to center properly. Bizarre signals. As 98L approaches the TUTT going under it the TUTT is blowing up divergence withing 98L like a balloon. So much so it's killing off the convergence at the surface. Super unique"

"My best track current for 98L Major Hurricane Melissa to be retired. Forecast in max flux for where it goes why NHC have a track cone on due west for days. For where it turns will be determined roughly at XX hours now from the National Hurricane Center. My thoughts only trust the NHC for official forecasts please"

"Wild to think Tropical Storm Melissia will be only here by Saturday morning. On stall as a hurricane expected right off Haiti could be days of rain stuck in the front right quadrant it would be a disaster. This arm of Haiti is quite populated with mountains along the length of it. Nightmarish if this plays out like NHC expect. Then if Melissa does miss first trough and moves west before next pick up Jamaica could get a historic disaster as well. That part of the forecast is still an unknown per the NHC. Haiti needs to take immediate precautions this is going to be so bad for them"
