"Started slowly scaling into a hedge play today. I like buying calls on $SQQQ because its cheaper than buying puts on $QQQ. You could also do a put debit spread on $QQQ if you wanted to make it cheaper. This is FAR too small of a position to properly hedge my portfolio but I will add to it if we continue to grind higher. I never end up building these hedges into substantial size positions because in general trying to time a market downturn is a fools errand. Incase you dont know options jargon he was assigned [---] shares of $HIMS at $50/share when his short put went against him.
