"Hate to break it to you but the G-Force system has it's own unique set of issues. Unreliability tuning inaccuracies proprietary battery failures and a lack of durability just happen to be a few. "Yes even acoustic guitars suffer from tuning issues caused by the exact same issues that Gibson brand guitars and all other guitar brands that use the same headstock nut and machine head configuration. The problem is the nut and machine heads aren't in alignment and if the nut grooves are too tight the strings will bind especially the G string since it comes off the nut at the most drastic angle. "On this date in 1941 Bassist and Session Musician William "Billy" Cox is born in Wheeling West Virginia. Cox is best known for performing with Jimi Hendrix. Cox is the only surviving musician to have regularly played with Hendrix: first when both were in the Army then in 1969 with the interim group that backed Hendrix at Woodstock (informally referred to as "Gypsy Sun and Rainbows") followed by the trio with drummer Buddy Miles that recorded the live Band of Gypsys album and lastly The Cry of Love Tour trio with Mitch Mitchell back on drums.
