"$APLD (longback in) After getting shaken out of my $APLD position this morning I kept it on watch and saw strength come back in shortly after my stop out and quickly got back in as it undercut and reclaimed the prior days low and close reclaimed the 8EMA and VWAP then pushed through the bull-flag breakout -all this on above average volume. What got me stopped was the oversized overnight position (which should have been a half position) and had to respect my sell rule. Doesnt mean you cant re-enter if it sets up again. "Theres a lot of advice out there about holding through nasty red days its just noise just wait for capitulation we will bounceetc I get it and yes the market often does bounce after you sell. But heres my question: what do you do when your stops get hit Do you follow them or do you just hang on hoping and praying For me its simple-I buy near support set my stops below and if they trigger Im out no questions asked.
