Duran slashed .256/.332/.774 with a [---] OPS+ while Yoshida in his last semi-full season (2024) put up .280/.349/.764 with a [---] OPS+. I still personally prefer Duran offensively but Im not convinced its worth having Yoshida essentially rot on the bench if Duran is the everyday DH. It feels like the team is just waiting for an infielder or outfielder to get hurt. Once that happens Duran likely slides back into the outfield or Ceddanne moves to second base (sorry) which opens up the DH spot for Yoshida. I love"
