Afterall the 7th & 8th seed are Play-In teams today but were simply playoff teams prior to the Play-In existence. The Front Offices of all these teams know exactly how good they really are. Very few illusions among them. But just because you dont necessarily believe youre good enough to win the chip this year does not mean your mindset should be Well we have no chance to win it all so we might as well just give up and lose all these games on purpose."
