"No disrespect to Dead or Alive as a franchise it's one of my favorite fighting game series ever next to Virtua Fighter. But unfortunately Koei Tecmo did not have enough confidence to succeed off of the core gameplay alone. hence the reason why most of the series is Rated CERO-D or M for Mature 17+ I don't get why the combat in all the DOA games were absolute peak top-tier. they could have succeeded without the nudity gimmick. But alas Itagaki-san did not have enough faith it would without it. And in the end they could not market it for esports because of the lewdness. That is well-known I'm"

"That's because they can't handle losing to anyone thats not AI for some reason. The AI on VF and Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe on Hard enraged me more then any lost in a ranked match. The AI is so cracked at that level. you got to get lucky"
