"🚨As of today Kentucky began using automated enforcement cameras in several areas and drivers could face up to $500 fines. I voted no on the bill that created this HB [---] because it's big government overreach. These cameras are surveillance tools tracking our movement under the guise of safety. Once in place what stops the government from expanding this technology to monitor other behaviors It's a a dangerous step towards a surveillance state. Fines hit the vulnerable hardest and there's no clear proof these cameras even reduce accidents. Our Commonwealth would have done better to reject this"
