"I know that the naysayers want to predict Rutgers finishing 17th or 18th in the Big. I continue to hear good things on the offensive end about TariqJ-Mike and Powers. Rutgers can start XX players interchangeably. The team last year did not play defense and had no depth. That has changed. I am concerned about the X slot. We will know a lot more by the ND game"

"Based on people who I have spoken with and have been to numerous Rutgers basketball practices I am going to side with the Jon Rothstein comments about this Rutgers team. Lunch pail. Blue collar. It will definitely need to find points from all positions. More importantly if the core group returns in 26-27 it will be a team which can do some Big Ten damage"

"Rutgers has a brutal December Big Ten schedule against X of the best teams. Top X Purdue at home and at Top XX Michigan. Tough for a young team. Team will be much better in February. Some big-time Rutgers basketball recruits at the Iowa game tonight. Expect Rutgers to sign 1-2 frosh this cycle perhaps one soon. It is possible but unlikely that everyone on the team could be back next season. Rutgers XX Iowa 21"
