"Buddy you do realise that Chainlink is essentially a messaging system very similar to SWIFT or Ripples old xCurrent. It still requires the use of Nostra/Vostra accounts to move money which means youre dealing with messaging IOUs rather than actual settlement. xRapid (now ODL) on the other hand removes the need for Nostra/Vostra accounting altogether and provides real settlement of money using XRP as a bridge asset. Thats the crucial difference one is instructions the other is settlement. So yes Chainlink is important for the messaging and interoperability side of things but it still relies on"
