"Heres the thing that some people still dont get: the @PGATOUR cant make young players any REAL financial promises. The model is not set up to do that. If Im a young player with some brand recognition (Ballester Akshay Clanton Lamprecht Sargent etc) Im leveraging that to make guaranteed💰NOW. You never know whats going to happen in the future (game/health etc). Sure we all have hopes that well remain healthy and continue getting better but life can get in the way. Eugenio Chacarra is playing @DPWorldTour with NO financial pressure now - frees him up to play better golf - as were seeing in 2025"

"More than most I havent liked how Augusta National/@TheMasters have handled the current division in pro golf. They always should have been leading on this but they havent and thats disappointing. My biggest gripe is their words and their actions just dont match. Examples: (1) Why are theyre still using OWGR to determine most of their field when its objectively not identifying the top XX golfers in the world Jon Rahm is 80th Brooks Koepka is 249th. Cam Smith is 127th. Joaquin Niemann is 89th. Patrick Reed is 116th. I can go on and on. All are obviously Top XX players so thats X extra players"
