That's not my experience with reworked statues and wall carvings which are my speciality. So yes its Theoretically possible but highly unlikely. Member I in the first image The multiple layers of the exposed body alternate in their degree of softness resulting in the "layer cake" appearance. What other artifacts and historical sources & monuments do you doubt According to your logic we can ask questions like: Did the Romans really build the Colosseum Did the founding fathers really write the Declaration of Independence Did the Chinese really build the Great Wall Even if Mozart put his name on all those music sheets doesn't make it so that he wrote them etc. etc. etc. You can see where your historical "logic" goes. "Stuff gets buried and then exposed over time. Your so obsessed with ancient floods that you don't think about how the earth itself changes over time Geological forces push rock up down sideways and tilted over 1000s of years. Rock is eroded by wind and sand as much as by water. The minerals in the fossilized whale skeleton are denser and harder than the stone around it. When the surrounding stone eroded it left the fossilized whale bones exposed. None of that has anything to do with floods. The AI video is totally fake. "Except the snout is shorter the thing under the head would be a statue of the king and a jackal head is too narrow to turn into a Pharaoh wearing the head cloths the Sphinx is wearing. Also jackal sphinxes never appear until [----] years after Khafre during the reigns of Amenhotep III and Ramesses II's reigns. Absolutely no large or small jackal sphinxes have ever been found before Amenhotep III. "I can't understand the even simpler idea that Khafre built it from a natural rocky formation. There's no trace of anything at Giza before his father Khufu's pyramid. There' no sign of chisel marks or anything on the Sphinx's head that would show it was something else. The simpler solution is the best one. That's called Occam's Razor Khafre made the Sphinx. "The things in the video are unrelated. You're mind's natural tendency towards pattern recognition lis looking for things that look similar. Since you seem to think that everything in the western European & American traditions were inspired by ancient Egypt anything that somehow reminds you of an Egyptian object or Egyptian symbols causes you to identify it with a supposedly Egyptian precursor. The tendency it see familiar forms un unrelated objects as having meaningful connections is called apophenia. "So @AgedExorcist just told me that he thinks the views of geologists on the date of the Great Sphinx is more reliable than the findings of archaeologists and Egyptologists who date the Sphinx to the reign of Khafre during the Fourth Dynasty. If I take his meaning right he suggests that the Sphinx dates to as early as [-----] BCE a few thousand years before Khafre. This goes hand in hand with other fringe theories like great natural cataclysms and an advanced precursor civilization more advanced than the ancient Egyptians who built the Great Sphinx and perhaps other monuments including the Great"

"Also the picture of the statue you showed is not a sphinx but a plain lion. When they did show a reclining lion they sometimes showed it in the cross legged pose with the head turned to one side and both back legs on one side of the body if it was a statue. "The debate about what race the Sphinx's face depicts has become a big topic in popular debate especially in fringe theories about ancient Egypt. Egyptologists do not consider this issue to have any value. There is a Wikipedia article titled "Ancient Egyptian Race Controversy" which discusses how various pieces of Egyptian art have been interpreted in terms of race. It includes a section on the Sphinx. Since Egyptian art is symbolic idealized and stereotyped I don't think we can determine a person's actual appearance from the way they are depicted in a work of art. For me the Sphinx doesn't"

"@Mexnexus just asked me an interesting question about two temples next to the Great Sphinx at Giza near the Great Pyramids Why can't tourists access the two big temples in front of the Sphinx and he wasn't permitted to photograph them. He said the guards even took his binoculars. The two temples in front of the Sphinx when facing it are on the left the Valley Temple of Khafre's pyramid. "Stuff gets buried and then exposed over time. Your so obsessed with ancient floods that you don't think about how the earth itself changes over time Geological forces push rock up down sideways and tilted over 1000s of years. "As the late US Senator Daniel Patrick Moynahan said "Everyone is entitled tomhisnown opinion not to his own facts" All the "free thinkers" who want to "challenge the official narrative" and the "mainstream gatekeepers" should keep these points in mind Feelings are not facts Opinions aren't "evidence" or "proof" Just because you say "I think the pyramids are much older & built in a different way than the so-called 'experts' claim" doesn't mean you have THOUGHT about it What did you do Watch a short video on YouTube making extraordinary & "amazing" claims about "new discoveries" Or an X post"

"No this interpretation is not correct. The Anastasi I papyrus hasn't just "resurfaced". Egyptologists have published translated and discussed it for decades. The letter by Hori to Amenemope is actually a piece of satire. In addition to training scribes in writing it was also very funny for them to read. It includes a bunch of difficult imaginary. problems and situations the scribe uses to challenge his colleague The Shasu are an ethnic term for Bedouin in the ancient Sinai and Holy Land. The scribe is talking about an impossible mission of a messenger traveling by chariot in the wilderness."

This is partly accessible but you have to follow the "tourist path" and they wouldn't let you go anywhere that was closed off. For example you exit on to the causeway up to the Pyramid but there is an iron"

"No I don't think this interpretation is correct. The papyrus doesn't prove anything for or against the accounts of the Biblical Giants. It's simply unrelated. "I watched Brian Forester's video about Luxor Temple and his claims about it are completely wrong He basically says that the granite statues and obelisk are predynastic and the sandstone temple is Dynastic He also claims that the change of the axis of the temple and damage to the monuments are due to some kind of "cataclysm" He believes the Dynastic Egyptians didn't have the technology to sculpt or cut granite. All these claims and assumptions are incorrect. It is also clear to me that he lacks knowledge or awareness of important knowledge and he lacks skills to make meaningful and convincing"

"That's our Jimmy lying about people and distorting the truth about them personally than he does about ancient history and monuments. Haters on those rate my profs sites self select. You'd get the same "fair and objective" ratings by polling Trump's approval at a Democrat campaign rally or Biden's polling Fox News viewers. I know I've got over all good ratings from the anonymous surveys all students do after classes end. Hater's gonna hate Jimmy and just like Taylor Swift I'm gonna shake you and the rest of 'em off baby because I don't need anyone's approval or adulation to feel secure or good"

"Yes yes I do. I've seen dozens and dozens of them in museums around Egypt Europe & North America & images & reports on them in scientific publications. I know people who study them & I've handled a few in a museum store room when I was a graduate student They are NOT uniform perfect symmetrical unblemished flawless etc. Etc. The minor imperfections one sees upon close examination even very minor flaws is what makes them look real. Modern machine made replica all perfect & shiny look pretty to many. To me they look fake as hell because I know they aren't made by hand with the basic tools the"

"Sorry this is all science fiction & pseudo history with no basis in reality. Slick AI images & videos & made up pseudo scientific theories doesn't make it real. You can cherry pick some superficial "evidence" and ignore all the hard data from actual archeological geological & other legitimate scientific fields 🙈🙉🙊 and hope it will all go away but it won't. Genuine science & archaeology are the elephant in the room that you are ignoring but it won't go away just because you ignore it or say its all fake"

"TLDR: There are wall carvings from other pyramids showing construction activities including: men dragging the pyramid capstone for King Sahure's pyramid at Abu Sir Ships loaded with large granite palm tree columns for the pyramid temple of King Unas at Saqqara Almost nothing of the Great Pyramid of Khufu's temple wall carvings survive. Its temple may have shown construction scenes now lost Main Post: Construction scenes were symbolic not historical or to describe construction methods As in all civilizations official art doesn't show every kind of event or activity that either they or we would"
