"$PTSG is another name I like. It's a key player in the data center build-out theme. Historically the chart has had sharp moves up followed by long choppy consolidations. The weekly looks good. Recently its daily has tightened up a lot and is more linear than before. "We could totally quantify classic UNR and create a screener that produces them exclusively but I dont think thats the right way to go. A simple APTR and $vol filter is all you need. "Id build a strategy around longer holds smaller position sizes and wider stopsand just accept that Ill miss a lot of optimal entries. But that doesnt mean you have to miss a lot of trades. If your intended hold is strategically longer a perfectly precise technical entry matters a lot less and getting the trend right matters more. Now that I think about it thats basically true with traditional swing trading too. If swing traders just slowed it down took less size used slightly wider stops and focused on catching the trend theyd probably do better than trying to nail precise entries and exits."
