To be honest I think its capable of a lot of use cases - probably 90%+ of standard tech applications (cloud apps SaaS etc. where iteration is rapid). LT CGT discount franking credits etc. work in favour; trading fees income tax (as high as 47%) work against. 30% is probably the most representative number for working accumulators who have mortgages. But youre right it has scope to be slower. That said I think the point remains - on an after tax basis offset accounts are quite tempting"
