"Im not against technical analysis of course it works. But it should be used for confluence not in isolation. A smart trade or investment setup always combines multiple variables including fundamentals and macros before execution. Most trading today is already automated and algorithms factor in far more than just chart patterns. I personally conduct hour-long sessions covering both technicals and macros in detail but I always make sure macro conditions guide the technical outlook.
