"In my opinion 3-4% is not tight at all for a stop. Its not too wide at all but its not tight. Its kind of ok. It feels tight when buying breakouts which is why I dont buy breakouts. If you see a VCP pattern forming or a base forming theres plenty of opportunities to get long before it breaks out with less than 2% to stops. Yes people argue you should wait for confirmation (the breakout) but I dont believe that is good advice anymore. Most breakouts pullback and shake before they even actually work. Seeing a chart contract is enough confirmation with much much tighter risk reward trying it"
