"$IVN stock now down XX% on today's news (excerpt from the PR below with comments). The fact that pillars appear to be continuing to burst suggests that regional (mine) geotechnical integrity is compromised in all stoping areas. Without knowing the details pillars in a section of the mine failed and the weight is likely being transferred onto remaining pillars which are also now bursting. This is not something unique and has happened in many mostly UG coal mines in the past which have similar mining layouts. It is not "like SpaceX" you only get to mine something once and if you get it wrong"

"Having now recovered from my operation I finally can comment on $IVN's Jun 11th PR on the Kakula disaster new guidance et al: I highly recommend reading this PR & listening to the very thorough conference call (link 1) The prelim geotech findings (1st pic) confirmed my suspicion- that some pillars failed & the pressure transferred to other pillars causing rolling pillar failures across the mine & also damaging regional pillars on the main ramps which also impaired access & the ability to pump. They were very fortunate everyone got out okay. They were using backfill but the backfill did not"
