"AI is a great tool but it also makes mistakes. Coinbase has a massive amount of stablecoins in their holdings (non customer funds) which they utilize in DeFi protocols for multiple uses like lending. This provides them with a decent amount of revenue. Holding customer funds (stablecoins) to pay them back yield might seem attractive for their business however it's not. They could earn far more if they didn't have to pay out that yield. They currently pay 3% to customers this ban would allow Coinbase to eat even more and no longer need to pay out yield. Users will still have stablecoins sitting"
