"Update: I got an automated telephone call and an email from LASD that my CCW permit renewal has finally been approved. Despite my status saying "pending appointment completion" for nearly two months they never actually did a telephonic appointment like they did with my last renewal two years ago (which was on time and issued before my permit had expired).
