"Hi mate. IF you post this Could it be annon please. Units have recently had GD employees on site inspecting and testing the AJAX fleet. They have been 'removing data' and inspecting vehicles. Stating that things like drivers and commander not using seat belts or sitting in the seat correctly is part of the issue not the vehicle. Stating that they have found bolts loose so no wonder it's vibrating. ( bolts that they fitted vibrated loose and dropped out whilst crews are driving). They have been taking vehicles out on 'test drives' with vibration equipment covering about 5km at low speed gentle"

"(anon). I was at the ATDU a few years back on a visit to see the Ajax units that were in early stage acceptance trials. The view I was told from the embedded GDUK team of engineers (or at least those in charge) was that they saw the medical discharges and H&S issues from Ajax as grossly exaggerated if not entirely fabricated by MOD. They were adamant on pressing on with pushing the units into Army service without any revisions or much scrutiny. My impression was that they had no intention of taking any of the problems back to GDUK nor pushing fixes to the production line"
