"oh I think they are Paul weather is the top of all Spanish news. the situation is very concerning there have been evacuations from flood areas severe floods with rivers breaking their banks/ torrents running through villages landslides collapsed roads - also a report of water coming up through the ground in some homes as the ground can't take anymore - this level of widespread floods/ damage reminds me of winter 2009-2010 - I wrote an article then for Weather when still with the Met Office as it was Gibraltar's wettest winter on record trouncing most other years.
