"He has not put up good numbers yet at MLB level (5.56 career ERA) and theres no guarantee that he will. But with his stuff and his ceiling you dont move on from him this quickly. There is still development to take place and he has the stuff and potential to turn into a very high-end MLB relief pitcher. Development does not stop once someone gets to the big leagues and moving on from guys with great potential when there is still development that can take place is a terrible idea especially for a team like the Cardinals with where they are at in the competitive cycle."
