"Verse is a curated gallery so it makes sense that they chose a more traditional approach for their market segment. OpenSea on the other hand is an aggregator and crypto-native XX% of NFTs and volume are in ETH. Switching everything to USD pricing can further destroy valuations and market prices. I highly doubt that the onboarding issues for new users have anything to do with prices being in ETH. They probably need to rethink their entire market approach. On top of failing to attract new users theyre now risking pushing away the small crypto-native audience thats still active in NFTs"
