"Again you dont understand. His salary is 6mil teams dont have enough TAM to buy down that much. Team are given only $2.2mil each year. TAM is used for a plethora of reasons important to salary budget balancing. Such as paying players above budget charge covering transfer fees etc. no way they use all of it on one buy down. "You have to be bought down enough to be below DP pay threshold. Which is 1.7mil salary. Going from $6mil to $1.7mil would take too much TAM. Theyd have to renegotiate to $3mil salary then use ALL of their TAM to get him down below DP threshold. This is highly unlikely. DP buy downs are usually done when. Players DP salaries are lower closer to the threshold. Miami with all of their TAM use doesnt have enough TAM to accomplish this. We will see"
