"I've been saying this for X years. For every one Nigerian care worker she brings her husband to X kids gets free housing has no utilities or council tax and gets free travel. So instead of paying a local woman a decent wage to be a care worker they're importing X people. Cornwall Council is now 3bn in debt. And XX thousand Cornish people are homeless on the emergency housing waiting lists and there are no school places available. Nothing against the Nigerian care workers I actually really like them and many have become friends but the system is absolutely broken and ridiculous"

"22k mainly mothers wirh children are on the emergency housing waiting list in Cornwall. Many are living in BnBs hotels or holiday caravans. The council pays taxis for their kids to travel all over Cornwall to get to school because there is no housing available near them. Meanwhile cornwall has also imported and housed thousands and thousands of foreign staff for the care industry and given them free housing no bills and a job that a local could do. Ita nothing against the foreign workers but Cornwall has an employment and housing crisis and neither jobs or houses should be going to"
