"I got asked today on a radio appearance "Why bother tweeting out some guy who getting signed knowing they'll get waived within a day" One time I tweeted about a camp signing. The player's mom emailed me within XX minutes about "How excited they were to see someone reporting on her son" and "How even a temporary contract was fulfilling a dream". The replies often come with people excited because they liked the player in college. Or they knew them from HS. When guys are in the NBA it's fun to recognize it even when it's momentary. All transactions matter to someone"
