"IMHO what we are observing could very well be the main flaw in the structure of the crypto market with BTC as the primary quote currency. Even though we think its USD the entire crypto market is made up of on/off ramps with BTC pairs not just USD pairs. This is why when BTC falls in price we see Altcoins follow shortly after because traders are rotating in and out.
