If anything i think the new carry trade when USD/JPY rates align a bit closer is going to be for treasuries which will finally get the bond market into a bull direction. But that's also bad for equities. Carry trade is a huge HUGE contributor to the equity market. Perfect example is this Friday. BOJ reassured a hike next year and the market took a huge dump.
