"Fair question by @astraffon: what responsibility do platforms have to clarify rules questions on prediction markets Rules errors and ambiguities happen all the time. Customers are betting real money on these markets. Ultimately it's the bettor's job to interpret the rules correctly. But it's the platform's responsibility to write rules clearly and apply them fairly. Platforms should clarify legitimate confusion and amend rules as necessary. "Historically PMs/exchanges are harder to beat. X. Exchanges tend to have a higher proportion of sharps. Sportsbooks kick out winning bettors who then move to the exchanges. X. To beat a sportsbook only have to beat one opponent (the book). To beat a market have to consistently beat the market price (which is the most competitive price formed by all market participants). In other words beating sportsbooks only need to be better than the weakest book. To beat the market have to be better than the sharpest in the market. This dynamic could change (temporarily) with new money coming into PMs from"
