"$FANG - Throw out the 2024 numbers because of the Q3 Endeavor acquisition but if you look at Q1 pace then the august projections their planed completions for 2025 XXX and their pace in Q1 was XXX per quarter so they are not really going to slow down this year. Not sure if others are doing the same but the reality is the May-July cuts will not show up until 1H26. Any further cuts will show up in 2H26. This is the oilfield version of the fool in the shower"

"🛢🛢🛢Oil Glut Thoughts🛢🛢🛢 Normally anything as consensus as the upcoming "Oil glut" would make me immediately want to fade it. However perhaps a bit of patience is required. Stock markets bottom on fear and top on complacency. The bottoms happen quickly because everyone gets afraid all at once. Tops take time because that's the nature of complacency. Commodity markets are the inverse of that. They top on fear ("these high prices will destroy our business") and bottom on complacency ("it's so cheap I don't even think about it"). So perhaps this sentiment should be faded but more patiently"
