"Im embarrassed for you. Half of those five games every year are in South Bend. Increasing ticket sales for one game for X or X teams is not moving the needle. ND was 15th in per game ratings in 2025 averaging less than 4M viewers and that with always being on top networks. They were behind Florida Florida State and South Carolina who all had terrible seasons. The idea that Notre Dame is some tv juggernaut is a myth. Its FSU and Clemson that want out of the ACC. They will leave in a couple of years regardless of what ND does. Miami is perfectly content. Well see if that scheduling agreement"

"Thats interesting Dan. You finished with Notre Dame has options but I question how good they are. If they stay independent in football they can join the Big East or probably the Big XX and get the same scheduling agreement they have with the ACC. Either way they need other conferences to help them out with additional games and a lot of help if they choose the Big East. I dont see Notre Dame joining the SEC. Bad geographical/cultural fit and a much tougher road to the playoffs. That leaves the B1G but that would require them joining as a full member which they should do but I doubt they are"
