"In this era of college football nobody can spell loyalty. Conferences sue each other schools jump for TV money networks push their own agendas and everyone acts in pure self-interest. The ACC helped ND during COVID sure but that was never charity. It was mutually beneficial it boosted the ACCs TV inventory and it gave the league its only playoff team that year.
