Kirill Kaprizov has signed an 8-year contract extension with an average annual value above $16m, making it the highest deal in NHL history. Several other NHL players have also signed significant extensions, including Logan Cooley, Martin Necas, and Jackson LaCombe. Additionally, Thomas Harley is close to signing an 8-year extension with the Dallas Stars.
