"Berkshire Hathaway $BRK $BRKA $BRKB initial takes Insurance underwriting holding up well GEICO still doing very well. Industrial segment led by PCC earnings rebound but theres an insurance payment from a fire in Q2 results X months numbers more relevant Pilot is a *disaster* down XX% YoY. Its a $400m earner after tax they paid $14B for. Otherwise broad strength in service/retail/manufacturing The miss in Other was FX losses adjusting for this and results are mildly above last year. Good results one of the better ones Ive seen at first glance"
