The aircraft given as testing the mod was DZ414 which was a specially selected BIV used by the Film Production Unit and flown by Chales Patterson at XXX Sqn not Channer. Rod Banks was an expert on advanced fuels at Boscombe Down (developed the fuels for the Rolls Royce 'R' engine used for the Schneider Trophy).
